Dont forget to join the BBCF Improvement Mod's discord server! Originally this mod started as a performance fix in order to set back BBCF's minimum system requirements to the same level as BBCPEX has. As time went on, it has further evolved, and by now it provides features such as:.
Unlocks the game's region restricted multiplayer. Adds extra game modes. Create custom palettes and effects. Manage and load custom palettes without file modifications. See each other's custom palettes in online matches. Options to improve the performance of the game even further. More flexibility to change the graphics options.
Change avatars and accessories in online rooms/lobbies without going back into menu. Freely adjustable ingame currency value. Where to place your custom palettes. The palette folders are created in the path '. BlazBlue Centralfiction BBCFIM Palettes ' upon the first launch of the mod. Place your.hpl files into the character's corresponding palette folder (at '.
BlazBlue Centralfiction BBCFIM Palettes ') to have the mod automatically load them upon start, and making them selectable ingame via the mod's menu. Effect files must end with the naming convention of 'effectXX.hpl'. Where XX is the index of the effect file. For example, if you have a custom palette file named 'NyxIzanami.hpl', then in the same palette folder a file named 'NyxIzanamieffect01.hpl' will be loaded as that palette's first effect, and a file named 'NyxIzanamieffect06.hpl' will be loaded as sixth, etc. A file created with name ending 'effectbloom.hpl' will turn on the bloom effect for that custom palette in the game.
(Once activated, the bloom effect will keep the color it was first activated on, and can't be changed unless a new round is started). Troubleshooting.
Make sure that your issue doesn't persist if you remove/rename dinput8.dll. If the issue still persists, then it has nothing to do with the mod. The mod's UI is very small, unreadable:. This happens if you run the game in windowed or full-window mode with a resolution that's higher than what your monitor supports. Try changing your display setting to fullscreen, or lowering the resolution ingame. Blackscreen problem:.
Make sure that RenderingWidth and RenderingHeight values in the.ini file are correctly set to the resolution of your game. If their values are higher than your monitor's native resolution, then you will get blackscreen. If you just bought the game and get blackscreen even without using the mod:. Update your drivers. Game crashes when launched:. Make sure that the settings.ini file is present in the game's folder.
Check if the problem still occurs after you remove, or rename dinput8.dll. Turn off tools such as MSI Afterburner, Plays.tv, or other recording softwares and overlays that manipulate D3D. Make sure you are running both Steam and the game with administrator privileges, and remove any steamappid.txt file if present in the game's directory. Restore the default settings in the settings.ini file. Reboot your system.
Keep in mind that the mod may partially, or completely stop working whenever a new official patch of the game is released. の投稿を引用:It wouldn't work online anyway. You should probably try MUGEN instead. Actually, if he's playing with friends that have the mod installed, it'd work. Also online isn't the only reason to play BBCF. You do realize it has offline, right? But moding a character would bring odd results to the actual gameplay, and that will unbanalce the game and, not only that, if someone wants to make a right mod for it, is a must, to do it with the same art style, otherwise, it will be a monster madness, like crossin a KOF 2002 magic plus with mugen, and that makes no sense at all.for that, better use mugen itself.
の投稿を引用:You know, when there's Susanoo, Kagura and Noel on one hand and Nine, Izanami, Izayoi, Mai on the other hand, any 'balance' talk sounds like gibberish to me Of course i know those characters.do you want fan made, more chaotic and unfair characters than those?.for me, they are more than enough. What I mean is - you can't ruin the balance, if there's NO balance in the first place. And why are you so opposed to the idea of people playing the game with mods? It's not like they'll be able to play with those mods against someone who doesn't have those mods installed (for obvious reasons).
What's the harm, when it's couch-play or offline play? の投稿を引用: Of course i know those characters.do you want fan made, more chaotic and unfair characters than those?.for me, they are more than enough. What's the harm, when it's couch-play or offline play? I'm just expresing my opinion, people can do whatever you want, but you see, there are engines that are far easy to do modding, you can even import sprites, assets, music, stages from other games, and they are ofline too, so, the question for me is why to modify a game that does not have mod features to begin with, when you can just rip assets of this and pass it to mugen for example, this game for being moded.would need to extract it's code, that is not free by any means.and for that is why for me, makes no sense to make mods for a close code game like this one. Having open engines like mugen, open bor or fighting maker 2k. の投稿を引用:What I mean is - you can't ruin the balance, if there's NO balance in the first place. Having open engines like mugen, open bor or fighting maker 2k. MUGEN isn't easy to mod though. Their coding language is probably one of the worst to use. Also, all those other engines are bad as well. If someone wants to mod in their character into BlazBlue, it's probably because they know the BB engine is great and they want to see their character duke it out with BlazBlue characters. Why would someone go through the effort learning terrible coding languages on obsolete and outdated engines to re-create BlazBlue in its entirety, just to add their own character to the roster?
Wouldn't it be easier to just mod it? Ffs, it's not like they can use the mod online unless the other person has it, so why are you making it such a big deal?
